Jason Diaz Jr. Flexing in Professional Overseas Football Uniform for the Catalans Grizzlies in Southern France

Jason M. Diaz Jr. (also known professionally as Jason Diaz Jr.) is a high performance athlete who played professional football and has since transitioned to pursing the Olympic games as a decathlete in Track and Field, a credentialed athletic performance specialist, and entrepreneur.

His athletic foundation was built in the NCAA Division 1 ranks as a defensive back for the Fresno State Bulldogs where he was recognized as a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and selected for the Academic All-Mountain West team. Following his collegiate tenure, he transitioned to the international professional circuits, suiting up overseas in Southern France for the Grizzly’s Catalans where he quickly earned the respect of his coaches and teammates and was anointed as a Team Captain for the 2024 D1 Élite season by the American football franchise. Throughout the season, Jason was recognized as a Top 10 D1 Elite Interception Leader while logging dominant defensive stats despite missing almost half the games due to an unexpected calf injury sustained in practice. Against the Toulouse Ours he recorded 2 Solo Tackles, 1 Interception for a Touchdown, and Forced 2 Fumbles.

Stepping off the gridiron, Jason successfully translated his elite athletic background into human performance expertise, earning his credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He recently accepted an internship offer with the Olympic Sports Performance team at the University of Southern California (USC).

Today, Jason is the founder and visionary behind JMDII Elite Performance Academy, delivering custom collegiate and professional-level athletic programming and elite mentorship to athletes globally, alongside an international brand partnership with European sports apparel and supplement retailer Kross Impact.
